Luxurious garden furniture was originally made of wrought iron, but as sand casting became more widespread and technically developed, cast iron took over. By pouring molten iron into molds, allowing it to solidify, and then joining the parts, it became possible in the 19th century to create more decorative and expressive outdoor furniture.It was the beginning of an era of magnificent, sustainable furniture – just like the ones we manufacture today.
