Magnificent orangery at Färna Manor

A few years ago, Wenche Engström, CEO and owner of Färna Herrgård, called and told me that she had received a brick as a Christmas gift from her husband. Nice, I thought, of course, since I love bricks. It became even nicer when she mentioned that six thousand additional bricks were stored in an old industrial building in Skinnskatteberg, waiting for a greenhouse to be built at Färna. We meet and a connection is formed, as they say, and soon a magnificent orangery made by Hartley Botanic stands at Färna Herrgård, placed exactly where Färna's old wooden orangeries once stood.
